Job DescriptionAs our intern, you will have the opportunity to take part in the design process of industrial structures and learn from our great team of experts in the field. Primary ResponsibilitiesActively participate in the design and preparation of plans and specificationsParticipate in detailed drawing review and mark-up for designers / draftersProduce construction documents, such as scope of work, bill of materials, and schedulesConduct technical studies or reports Take responsibility for ensuring compliance with quality assurance system requirements Solve technical problems requiring research and in-depth analysis Assist engineers by performing tasks requiring precision in the production of necessary dataComplete projects from Kick-off through completion of Construction / CommissioningOccasional site visits to construction sites or clients’ industrial sites for surveys or inspections QualificationsUndergraduate student in Civil Engineering or Building Engineering Excellent team work skills Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking Knowledge of software: MS Office, SAFI, SAP 2000 (asset) Détenir l’attestation de santé-sécurité sur les chantiers (carte de l’ASP) The salary for this position ranges from $23.75 to $29.40 per hour, depending on your academic profile, the number of credits earned, and your previous co-op or internship experience. The final offer and salary may be adjusted based on your unique profile.
